It's begining to look a lot like Christmas!

Jesse and I lit up the tree today! We're doing our best to spread the Christmas joy throughout the house with the warm feelings of brotherly love and hot chocolate.
The house is starting to warm up to the soft glow of Santa's beard as we continued to decorate.
I feel as though Jesse and I have taken it upon ourselves to set up for Jesus' surprise birthday party as we placed the star atop our heathenistic tree.
Setting up thus far has been a joy with Dean Martin's singing to us about a Winter Wonderland. Hopefully we'll have everything ready to go by the time Santa decides to drop in with Rudy.

Life back home.

With One Voice

Worship night for Renovate, Vertical and Velocity!

Home and Happy

Jesse and I drove back home yesterday and got home somewhere around 1:30. The drive took a while but i think we're both over it now. Jesse got to see Bekah this morning, but i didn't tell Tamara i was coming in so that i could surprise her! So i did! I bought her flowers and i note that i put in her car, after i had a friend (Stepha) steal her keys when she wasn't paying attention. I got everything in her car so when she came out, she'd find her flowers and the note i wrote for her, then i stood behind her as she read it. I'd say it was moderately successful. She was suprised. But now we're home for 2 months and i'm stoked about it! I have to go find a job.

It's been so Christmasy lately!

For our last gathering on Sunday night, we had a choir composed of nothing but the best singers on campus who had made a positive impact on the rest of the student body. As they sang a gentle glow omitted from the faces of the vocalists as a warm blanket of harmony wrapped around the audience, and settled the souls of the unsettled. The melodies rang clear from the campus all the way down to the rich valley of Riverside, where we heard the angel gather their harps and pluck gently to the rythem of enlightenment. Needless to say, we had a good time. And there was free hot coco!

Merry Christmas!

'I'm so glad i know you guys!'

We sat in Best Buy and watched The Nightmare Before Christmas! I'm not going to lie, it's one of my favorite movies ever. I felt like we were on a cinematic adventure in Best Buy's In Home Theatre Section! It was great. Be jealous.

Can i just tell you how much i love Tamara!?

I'm not going to lie to you, i'm not sure if i know how to tell you. 'A Lot!' just doesnt seem to cut it! I guess the reason for that is because people sometimes say 'a lot, a lot, a lot.' and if you do that, then where's it going to end? How much of a lot can you really have? I don't know words yet. I'm still learning. I'll get back to you on that. But in case You're still curious, just start saying 'a lot!' and keep repeating it till i get back with better words. Maybe you'll be close.

The Choice

Find the Fetus! Ps. There's also a fetus in the previous Blog.

I don't know what to say...

I don't even know what to say. Tonight has basically been amazing. First off, we went to Harvest to hear John McArther teach for a Preach the Word Conference, we're chillen in a caffe with some beautiful people discussing politics... It's just great. Maybe i can use better words later. God is awesome.

Preach the Word

I'm not gonna lie, i'm pretty stoked out of my gourd to be here right now!

I don't have a title for this one...

Last night we walked around campus, showing our rooms, and other comfortable parts of campus, to Levi, Coy and Josh. I kinda felt like we were the young ones on the field playing with our Little Tykes in the sand box while the 8 year olds rolled through the preschool remembering all the good times they had in the duck pond. I guess Levi was the only one who stayed on campus for an extended period of time. But that's not the point, the point is that i felt like a wave of desperation crashing against the rocks on the golden shore of tranquility. But when the sun took his first breath this morning, he looked me in the eye and said 'Well done captain. Well done.' And from there i set sail into the horizon, seeking out my next obstacle to overcome and rescue the damsel in distress who just happenes to have that extra slice of cheese cake with strawberries. But will i take that slice of
cheese cake as my just reward? No sir, i will not. My only reward is that justice has been served.

Breakfast with the Brave

It's about 12 now, so technicaly it could be breakfast. If you have a problem with it, take it up with Mel, the fantastic woman who just took our order! Ps. Find the Fetus!

What we scream for.

I got a sudden hankering for some ice cream so Chris and i went to McDonald's after i searched for spare change to get that $1.08 Sunday with caramel. Well as i counted my change, a couple girls from our school (back right of the picture) felt bad for some reason and gave Chris $3 for ice cream. We ate it and were blessed.

Quality you can taste.

What does this button do?

Chillen in cafeteria eatin Anthony's food!

I came to my room yesterday to this note on my door which all of my room mates having already read, informed me of. Basically, it says that i have to meet with some people at 7 am, most likely having to do with M1 stuff. So i get up this morning, seeing that my hair was gross and greasy, also seeing the lack of time to take a shower, i threw on the only nice button up i have to compensate. I headed over and in the office was some other guy giving excuses as to why he was late a few times for his M1 and i laughed a bit inside. So i waited my turn and walked in once the other guy left. I was informed of a few times (8) that i had come in late, none more than 10 minutes, and she also pointed out that the days i had come in late, i stayed later to make up for it. So i'm not behind on my hours, but my grade for the bakery has dropped. My amazing bread making skills just aren't good enough.
But if i'm faithful to come in on time, i was told that grace would be found with me and my grades.

Chris

...shakin it up! I promise he's only swing dancing!

And I know the picture quality sucks, but as you can see, Chris is actually on stage dancing his heart away! The rhythm of hips is cascading across the floor and blessing the weak, enabling them to dance freely as though no other soul was gazing at their feet, seeking out the flaws we all know and have. Thank you Chris for your overwhelming sense of Joy and confidence in the rhythm of your ways!

Fun in the neighborhood!

A fire hydrant busted and me and some of the kids were going to go play in the water. Tommy ran into the spray and it shot him 115 feet up in the air! So we ran back home.

I feel like We're going to Disney Land!

Working on the handle bars.

Dawn of the Leviathan

These pictures were taken just moments before the beast rose out of the sea to devour the Asian tourists. We were filled with compassion for the tourists as we rose to destroy the beast, who's name was Phillip. As he stormed furiously towards the beach, we all cried out with barbaric yelps as we leapt carelessly from the stone cliffs to meet Phillip on the glassy beach below.
As he approached, Jesse realized that he got far to caught up the emotion of it all and forgot his flip-flops at the top of the stones. Obviously, you can not fight beats with out flip-flops or the lack of any other kind of footwear for that matter! I personally prefer to roll in the black on black vans. It just suits my fancy. And occasionally I'll whip out the brown suede pumas, but only on a good day. The girls next to me also rock the flip-flops and on days when the tide is high, moccasins. As you can see, and I'm sure you've noticed before, we all have our shoe preference. It generally comes down the mood of the day for most. With the few exceptions of the beggars on the side of the street, who can typically only afford the one pair of shoes. Unless of coarse they are professional panhandlers, in which case they can afford many pairs of shoes! This kinda reminds me of this one time Mat, Jeff and I were walking around in San Francisco and we came across a bear in a tutu riding a unicycle. My memory's a little hazy, but I'm pretty sure it happened. Ask Jeff.
So yesterday, I was doing Chuck Tracks when Chuck walked in! Well, everything got super awkward super fast when he asked what I was doing. I was already nervous about being in his presence and frantically replied, "I'm listening to the beautiful sound of your voice Chuck." Then I snapped back into reality and Chuck was sitting at a table with a group of young men seeking wisdom in their dating life, or lack there of.

Here is another picture. Mat was there too.

"Is it weird having an Asian serve you Asian food?

"No!

It's
