First night as a velocity leader

So I'm an official leader in velocity now! This is ridiculously exciting for me and I cant wait for every up coming week. If you don't know what Velocity is, it's the middle school youth group at Calvary. If you wanna check out the website, click the fun little picture at the bottom.

Anyway, this has been something that I had been praying about for quite some time and the School of Ministry kinda pushed that along. Right now I'm just doing what ever is needed. Coming in early to help set up, going to home depot to buy ladders and pvc, and just being there for the kids! haha! Soon I'll be helping out with worship and playing the djembe or just leading and playing guitar. I guess it just depends on how Chris is feeling at the time. I didn't know that djembe was spelled like that! I know it is because I tried it like 6 times on google to see if I was right.
So thats pretty much it. I'm heading on my first leaders retreat soon, I'm sure that'll be nice and chill. I'll most likely write about it later.
